Baume & Mercier Launched the Classima Executives at Limited Edition

With exquisite and superexcellent craftsmanship, Baume & Mercier Classima Executives is considered the prior selection of the businessman and attracts all the watch collectors who are in particular with timepieces. The limited edition launched in 2010 comes with top workmanship, cautiously selected materials and superb Swiss mechanical movement.

"To wear a collectable watch to work" is what the newest Classima Executives wants to deliver. In general, it covers two models. One is the simply functional kind with hour, minute, calendar display and power reservation, produced at limited 500 pieces. The other kind goes to the complicated style, manufactured at 250 pieces.

These two models feature round watch case with the diameter measured at 42mm, classic design with the tattoo dial and oversized willow-leaf-shaped hands in blue steel. They are equipped with Swiss-crafted automatic mechanical movements, power reserved to 40 hours. The dark brown crocodile leather straps make them perfectly match the suit, elegant and charming.

Each kind of the brand-new Classima Executives wristwatches has its own uniqueness. The simple style is equipped with Swiss ETA movement, but the complicated kind is fitted with Swiss sophisticated movement launched by the Soprod Company. They utterly cater to the needs of different customers. I believe that both the modern businessmen and the junior watch collectors can find their excellence and uniqueness. Though I am not addicted to designer watches, I am still shocked by the first sight at it, let alone above guys. However, you should be noticed that such high-end watches must come with astronomical prices.

Baume Mercier Classima Executives XXL Chronograph and Complete Calendar

The Classima Executives XXL Chronograph and Complete Calendar is part of the Baume & Mercier's brand new 2010 release. As the name suggests, the watch is very versatile thanks to the ETA 7751 movement. It provides complete calendar that includes day, date, month and moon phase indicator aside from the chronograph functions and the time. I can not deny that it is a nice looking watch, but it looks quite similar to a watch model by the brand's big competitor Longines.

The 42mm case, made of stainless steel, is very classic and has fine finishes. But it has little personality itself. The dial features nice guilloche finish in the center. And to save the dial from being too busy, Baume & Mercier replaces numerals with black stick markers. And gray hands are applied to create a Tuxedo look. And the rose gold date hand and the moon phase indicator adds a subtle touch of luxury. The watch comes with sapphire crystal at front and the rear. The case-back reveals a Baume & Mercier signed automatic rotor, an oscillating weight adorned with "Côtes de Genève", as well as circular-grained bridges and blued steel screws. The crown proudly bears the Phi symbol.

And this watch requires 5 adjustments per year to account for the March, May, July, October and December that have not full 31 days. If you are in the market for a a perpetual calendar of lower price tag, this Baume & Mercier is not a half bad choice. You know high end watches with perpetual calendars normally go for $10,000-$100,000.
